Sightseeing & Transfers
People are surprised to discover that Copenhagen and its environs has much to offer from cultural, architectural, and historical standpoints, and this provides a vast basis to satisfy particular interests. You will find some possibilities here, but please remember that all my tours are indeed customized, so I will need your assistance in providing as much information as possible when you contact me for my availability and pricing.
- Inside visits are subject to opening times, and most museums are closed on Mondays, while the Castles are open almost every day.
- All tours can be done in all seasons, but bear in mind that the warmer half of the year has longer daylight hours – allowing extended tour time into the wonderful Danish evening – and the cooler half of the year has abbreviated daylight, and some of the castles shorten their opening hours accordingly.
- Tours are operated in all weather, without refund on the day of the tour, so bring your umbrella, sweater, hat, scarf, gloves and other appropriate clothing for the weather of the day. (Danes say, ‘There is no such thing as bad weather – only bad clothing’.) The Danish climate is mild in comparison with the perception held by visitors, thanks to Denmark’s location on the warm Gulf Stream.
- Tours involving vehicles for transportation will be arranged through a local operator.
